About Me
My work is inspired by the colour, light, mood and magic of the changing landscape. My paintings are based on memories of particular places and times, but the names of those places are not important. I would love my work to trigger memories for the onlooker, be they happy or sad, of places or times that are/were special to them,- a walk through the landscape, a dawn, a midnight,.....  This is why I use familiar symbols such as the moon, stars, birds etc – symbols to which we all can relate. I rarely paint figures in my work, so these symbols also take on the role as witnesses to the scene.
